The Soft Side of Me: Kindness, Boundaries, and Trust.

Whatโ€™s something most people donโ€™t know about you?

Something Most People Donโ€™t Know About Me

If youโ€™ve spent any time around me, youโ€™d probably describe me as soft, friendly, and easygoing. I like to see the good in people, and I genuinely enjoy making others feel comfortable and welcome. But thereโ€™s more to me than meets the eye, and today I thought Iโ€™d share something not everyone knows.

While Iโ€™m usually calm and nice, thereโ€™s a line I donโ€™t let people cross. You see, Iโ€™m kind and understanding, but if someone disrespects me or takes advantage of my trust, things can change pretty quickly. I give people a lot of chances, but once someone crosses my laneโ€”whether itโ€™s being dishonest, manipulative, or just not treating me rightโ€”Iโ€™m not one to let it slide. I believe in second chances, but Iโ€™m very careful when it comes to giving someone a third one. Trust is important to me, and Iโ€™m protective of who I let into my world.

Donโ€™t get me wrong; Iโ€™m not confrontational. I prefer peace and understanding. But I also believe in standing up for myself and setting boundaries when needed. Itโ€™s a balance, reallyโ€”being soft and kind but also firm when the situation calls for it.

So, while most people see me as gentle and easy to talk to (which I definitely am), thereโ€™s also that side of me that wonโ€™t tolerate being crossed. I trust twice, and after that, Iโ€™m done. Itโ€™s a lesson Iโ€™ve learned through experience and something I stick to for my own peace of mind.

At the end of the day, I think itโ€™s all about finding the right balance between kindness and strengthโ€”something I strive to do every day.
